Welcome to the ministries of the Care Team.  If you have the gift of helping or hospitality, we have a need to fit your giftedness.

The Care Team reaches out to those in need, at their greatest time of need.  Whether it’s through delivering meals, repairing cars, visiting patients in the hospital or just praying with those who are hurting, we become Jesus’ physical hands and feet.

Jesus said, “A new command I give you:  Love one another as I have loved you, so you must love one another” (John 13:34).  The Care Team believes love is an action.  Experience has taught us that no one is ministered to more than the one who is ministering, so you are sure to be blessed by participating in a care ministry.

Our team is comprised of church members who provide hospital or home visits for people of the Faith Church family. After training, team members visit those in need to offer prayer and encouragement.

While our team members designate a particular service time and area in which they prefer to be “on call,” the ministry team member should also be a person who enjoys the opportunity for “emergency” ministry.

Through thoughtful correspondence individuals send out letters of encouragement and support to those who are going through difficult times.

We receive prayer requests that are sent to the church office. We serve to minister to the needs of all by praying for their personal requests and showing, not only our care and concern as a church family, but also God’s love through our responses to their prayer requests.

We offer prayer training throughout the year.

To enlist, educate, equip and encourage the members and attendees of Faith to devote themselves to prayer, knowing it is powerful and effective. Our mission is to make dependence on God through prayer foundational to our church and to provide a solid, purpose-driven prayer base.
