Everyone has a Story!

Everyone has their story about how they connected to God and the church.  Maybe it's a lifelong relationship or maybe it happened later in life.  We want to hear and share your story to inspire others to find their way to God.

Shared Stories

I grew up in a religiously blended family. My father was Catholic and my mother was Presbyterian. All five of their children were raised Presbyterian but had a strong Catholic influence. Eight AM service at one church and Eleven AM service at the other. When I became a teenager, church became less and less important and I went away from the weekly ritual for many years. My wife and I got married in a Lutheran church and she was a regular church goer. It wasn't until our daughter was born that we decided it was important to go to church together. We found a small church and fell in love with the congregation. I dove in head first and really became involved. It was good for my soul. I rediscovered God and how important he had always been in my life. He was always there, it  just took a community for me to realize that I was always surrounded by his love and protection.
