Desiree Woods Memorial

Desiree Kay Woods (née Graham) age 67, of Aurora, Illinois, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, December 10, 2024. She was born on January 2, 1957, in Endicott, New York, to Merle and Janice (née Hedman) Graham.

Desiree cherished her childhood memories in Michigan before graduating from Broomfield High School in Colorado. Desiree was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and sister. Throughout her life, her unwavering dedication was to her children spending most of her life as a stay-at-home mom. She was so proud of her children and grandchildren. She had a unforgettable laugh and a generous heart, always thinking of others. She will be deeply missed.

Desiree is survived by her loving husband, Larry Woods; children, Brandon Barningham, Sarah (Marcus) Schewe, Natalie (Scott Grooms) Woods, and Erik (Dawson Metcalf) Woods; her cherished grandchildren, Aubrey Titus, Colton Schewe, Levi Schewe, Crista Woods, Zachary Grooms, Kyle Grooms, and Nicolas Grooms; sister, Rhonda (Rod) Erickson; brother, Scott (Brooke) Graham; niece, Jennifer Hartwig; nephew, Tucker Graham and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Merle and Janice Graham.
