“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” —John 3:16. It’s probably the most well-known verse in the Bible. But it can be so familiar that we don’t think through all of its implications. What does “God so loved the world” mean for us? What does it require of us?
