Mack left an indelible mark on all who knew him. He was a loving son, brother, nephew, and cousin, a passionate Green Bay Packers fan, a devoted culinary artist, and a fiercely loyal friend.
Born October 19th, 1986 in Downers Grove, Illinois Mack put his good looks to work early, co-starring in a national commercial for Flintstone Vitamins, before leaving his successful acting career at age 4 to pursue other interests.
After graduating from Waubonsie Valley High School in 2005, Mack furthered his culinary education in the Hotel and Restaurant Management program at the College of Dupage and studied as a Pastry Chef. Mack's passion for food took him on quite the culinary adventure.
A journey that took him to Florida, Hawaii, Georgia and Alaska. Over the course of his career, he worked for companies like Disney, in their Internship program, and Norwegian Cruise Line, as well as a wide range of restaurants expanding his variety of cooking knowledge. Whether he was a Head Baker or a Line Cook, Mack took great pride in creating good food for others. He loved to take his work home with him, often sharing his amazing creations with family and friends.
Beyond the kitchen, Mack touched the lives of others with his kindness and laughter, his silly personality, and his ability to be a strong support system for both friends and family. He is survived by his parents, Duke and Janet Dahmen, and his sister, Brooke Dahmen. Though gone too soon, Mack's legacy will live on in the hearts of his family and friends. He will be deeply missed by those lucky enough to have known him.
