Go : Mission Trip 2011

Join us as we travel to the Dominican Republic for a week-long mission trip.

When are we going?

August 4-11.

Are we going alone or with an organization?

We are partnering with New Missions; a mission organization that has been based in and serving Haiti and the Dominican Republic since 1983. (http://www.newmissions.org)

What will a typical day be like in the mission field?

A typical will be spent serving others, ministering in local schools, churches and villages, participating in daily devotion times and being involved in cross-cultural worship services and programs.

Who can participate in this mission trip?

Anyone who feels called by God.  No age restriction.

Where will we be staying?

We will be staying at a local hotel near the mission base. Meals will be provided at the hotel during our trip.

Are there certain shots I’ll need for this trip?

Yes there are. An up-to-date tetanus shot is recommended by New Missions. In addition we, along with New Missions, recommend that you inform your primary care physician of this trip, and find out what additional vaccinations may be highly recommended. We are also in the process of confirming with New Missions whether or not where we will be is a malaria zone.
